Maintenance/Automation Manager

We are looking for a talented individual to manage our Maintenance/Automation Department. This position will manage the technicians who fixed, troubleshoot, and maintain company equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee daily functions and provide technical support for automation and maintenance personnel
• Provide technical support and automation/maintenance activities to the various department of the company
• Assign and monitor tasks and PM's to direct reports
• Control PM software by adding/removing equipment/tasks as appropriate
• Schedule/Monitor direct reports time off and punctuality. Document appropriately according to BERMO's attendance policy
• Provide employee feedback through evaluations, discipline, etc.
• Drive new employee training
• Insure that necessary equipment has LOTO procedures available
• Maintain maintenance related data required by regulatory agencies: LOTO, Pressure Vessel, etc.
• Insure that all contractor who work at BERMO supply proof of liability and workers comp insurance. Maintain documentation
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Minimum 5 years managing employees
• Technical degree and experience in automation, programming, robotics required
• Prefer understanding of OSHA and safety requirements pertaining to the materials and equipment used in maintenance and automation
Reporting Relationships
• Reports to General Manager
• Direct Reports: Automation/Robotics Technicians and Maintenance Technicians
