Electrical Maintenance Technician
Circle Pines, MN
We are looking for a talented individual who can contribute to our maintenance department. Safely and efficiently repair and maintain company facility and equipment. Maintenance Technicians must be pro-active in utilizing provided equipment to optimize ergonomics and minimize excessive twisting, bending, and possible strains. This job requires the exposure to dust, fumes, noise, oils and other chemicals.
1st Shift (6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor and make modifications on company equipment.
• Support modifications and re-deployments.
• Perform routine maintenance when needed.
• Perform general building maintenance duties as needed.
• Knowledge and understanding of most maintenance trades.
• Detect faulty operations and fix accordingly.
• Navigate and perform all necessary functions of department software.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment
• Perform duties as directed by the supervisor and lead personnel.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Read and understand department-related drawings and manuals
• Able to follow printed and verbal work instructions
• Two-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Pass all position-related screenings
